Spoken Word Poetry helped me find my voice as an artist. Starting in the competitive Slam scene, this led me to compete at the Sydney Opera House for the Australian Poetry Slam, publishing Spitting Teeth, and previously co-producing Melbourne’s iconic Slamalamadingdong.

Slamalamadingdong
Melbourne’s largest competitive Spoken Word Slam, has been running for 10 years. Slamalamadingdong has sent poets to compete in the USA, and is a significant event of the Australian poetry community.
